Aquariums are usually cleaned every two weeks or monthly, depending on your level of involvement. Our routine cleaning service includes: algae removed from the glass, gravel vacuumed during a water change, filter maintenance, and an equipment safety check.
We offer bleaching service, but we do itemize for the service. This can be done as needed while performing your regularly scheduled maintenance.
We can help! That’s what is called an algae bloom and usually requires a special filter that can be installed during a regular scheduled cleaning.
It’s a little more complicated than that. We first need to evaluate your tank for switching to salt. This switch will require all new gravel, water, completely different filtration, and different lighting. We usually recommend doing freshwater for at least a year before you change to salt.
Yes we can! We will evaluate your aquarium over the course of a few visits, make sure your feeding properly, and can then help restock your aquarium. Livestock limited warranties apply.
If an aquarium has fallen into disrepair, we can help. We will conduct what is called a “restoration.” We do have to schedule it, and it’s billed by the hour. It usually requires a 100% waterchange, ornaments bleached, and filter’s replaced.
Sure, we will need your full mailing address, your tank size or measurements, and some pics of your tank with a closeup of the filter. That’s usually enough to get an accurate price.
We go to different parts of town every day and can only schedule you when we’re in the area. Don’t worry, we hit most parts of town every two weeks.
Unfortunately, when aquariums leak they need to be replaced. No professional companies will attempt to repair an aquarium leak. Even the manufacturer won’t attempt a repair. If it’s under warranty, they send you a new aquarium. We suggest you put your efforts toward getting the aquarium replaced!
